--- ## Description This annual award recognizes outstanding achievement in the field of organic chemistry, specifically for work whose significance has become apparent within the five years preceding the year in which the award is presented. The award includes a $25,000 cash prize, a medallion, a certificate, and reimbursement of up to $2,500 for travel expenses to attend the ACS Spring and Fall Meetings for the award presentation and address. In addition, the recipient may designate a university or non-profit institution to receive an unrestricted $150,000 grant-in-aid for research in organic chemistry (the Arthur C. Cope Fund Grant).
