Description
The Arthur C. Cope Scholar Awards, administered by the American Chemical Society (ACS), honor outstanding achievements and innovation in organic chemistry. Each year, ten scholars are selected across three career stages: early career (less than 10 years since terminal degree), mid-career (10–25 years), and distinguished (over 25 years). Recipients receive a $5,000 honorarium, a $40,000 unrestricted research grant to be assigned to a university or non-profit institution, and reimbursement of up to $2,500 for travel expenses to the ACS Fall Meeting, where award addresses are presented at the Arthur C. Cope Symposium. Additionally, recipients may be invited to present at a regional ACS meeting with further travel support and a $500 honorarium.
