The Arthur C. Cope Scholar Awards, presented by the American Chemical Society (ACS), honor individuals who have demonstrated exceptional achievement and excellence in organic chemistry. Each year, ten scholars are selected in three career categories (early, mid, and distinguished) to receive a $5,000 cash prize, a $40,000 unrestricted research grant, and a certificate. Recipients are also invited to present their work at the Arthur C. Cope Symposium during the ACS Fall Meeting and may be invited to present at a regional ACS meeting, with travel reimbursements and an honorarium provided. The award aims to celebrate innovation and leadership in organic chemistry and is supported by the Arthur C. Cope Fund.
