Description
The Arthur R. Frechette Research Awards in Prosthodontics recognize original research by new investigators. Sponsored by the IADR Prosthodontics Group and supported by Whip Mix Corporation, the two awards distinguish between prosthodontic research using a materials science or bioengineering-oriented protocol and research using a biological sciences and tissue engineering-oriented protocol.
Research submitted for the IADR General Session & Exhibition is considered for the awards. Abstracts are judged on originality and scientific design, suitability of analytical methods, and scientific value. Finalists’ manuscripts and oral presentations are also judged at the meeting.
