Description
This Fulbright Scholar Award supports teaching, research, or a combination of both in computer science and information sciences/systems in the Palestinian Territories (West Bank). Scholars work at Al-Quds University’s Abu Deis campus or Arab American University. Activities may include undergraduate and graduate teaching, scholar-designed or host-designated research, student mentoring, and faculty, curriculum, or program development. Projects should highlight opportunities for students to pursue careers in AI-powered specializations.
The Fulbright Scholar Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, seeks to strengthen relationships and mutual understanding between Americans and people of other countries. This award builds partnerships between U.S. and Palestinian universities through shared expertise and collaboration with local colleagues. Scholars may also be asked to give public talks and engage with the host community.
