Description
This opportunity funds interdisciplinary teams to conduct research on the ethical and scientifically grounded integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into communication sciences and disorders (CSD). Projects should address clinically relevant questions or translational challenges in areas such as AI-driven assessment, diagnosis, personalized interventions, equity of access, data infrastructure, technology innovation, public health prevention, and ethical standards for AI in CSD. Proposals must demonstrate strong rationale, rigorous methodology, and clear translational potential, with an emphasis on improving clinical outcomes for individuals with communication impairments.
