Artist Development Grants support Vermont artists with training, professional services, materials, equipment, and studio space to deepen their craft and build sustainable artistic businesses.

Description
Vermont Arts Council Artist Development Grants help practicing artists at all career stages deepen their craft, build skills, and strengthen the businesses that sustain their work. The program is funded by private donors, including Vermont Community Foundation fundholders.
Support can cover study with a mentor or teacher; conferences, residencies, and workshops; professional services such as artwork documentation, contracts, websites, marketing, and accounting systems; materials or equipment; and studio space outside the home. Aspects of creating new work may qualify when they enable an artist to accept a rare and important opportunity.
