Description
The Artist Equity Grant is administered by the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council (ARAC) with support from the McKnight Foundation. It funds individual artists from underrepresented groups to foster artistic growth, amplify their voices, and reduce barriers to arts experiences and opportunities for marginalized Minnesotans.
Supported projects may include creating, performing, exhibiting, or publishing artistic works; presenting arts events; participating in non-academic learning; or offering non-academic arts education. The program connects artistic creation with professional development and recognizes the value of projects to artists, audiences, and communities. Applicants must explain how their proposed work and intended outcomes advance the program’s goals.
