The Artist Growth Grants, funded by the McKnight Foundation and administered by the Southwest Minnesota Arts Council (SMAC), provide up to $4,000 to artists at any stage of their careers for projects that foster artistic skill development, career advancement, and creative growth. Eligible projects may include creating new work, study with mentors, attending workshops, equipment or supply purchases, portfolio development, and other activities that meaningfully impact an artist’s professional trajectory. The program is open to all artistic disciplines.
