Description
This opportunity, offered through the Lake Champlain Basin Program (LCBP) in partnership with the New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC), aims to fund the creation or expansion of sustainable Artist-in-Residence (AiR) programs within the U.S. portion of the Lake Champlain Basin. The goal is to support projects that recruit artists to interpret the Basin’s natural resources by drawing upon scientific data, cultural trends, and historical facts, thereby enhancing public understanding and appreciation of the region’s environment. All artistic media are eligible, and proposals should demonstrate how artistic engagement will further the objectives of the LCBP’s management plan, Opportunities for Action.
