Description
The Artist Leadership Fellows program, run by the Mid-America Arts Alliance (M-AAA), is designed to strengthen the professional skills and leadership capacity of emerging artists across the region. Over eight weeks, fellows from diverse artistic disciplines participate in virtual sessions led by experienced facilitators, covering topics such as goal-setting, financial strategy, marketing, contracts, legal business structure, time management, and self-care. The program emphasizes peer mentorship and prepares artists to serve as future facilitators and mentors within their communities. Participants leave with an expanded cross-disciplinary network, a strategic career management framework, and tools to support their own professional development and that of others.
