Description
Artist Opportunity Grants are an Arizona Commission on the Arts investment in individual artists at any career stage and in any discipline. They support time-based opportunities that could significantly advance an artist’s work, whether by introducing it to new audiences, developing artistic skills, or building an artistic career. Opportunities may be self-generated or offered by invitation.
An artist might showcase work, attend a conference or residency, learn through a workshop or apprenticeship, develop marketing materials or a website, or obtain professional services or essential tools. The opportunity must represent a new or evolving professional step rather than duplicate previous work or experiences. Applicants explain how it connects their past work to future artistic goals.
