Description
This grant supports the creation and realization of original, artist-led projects across all artistic disciplines within Columbus, Ohio. The program is designed to foster creativity, encourage innovative approaches, and elevate diverse voices by empowering artists to independently conceptualize, plan, and execute projects that have artistic, community, or cultural value. All funded projects must provide compensation to participating artists, align with the Greater Columbus Arts Council’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Statement, and culminate in a public-facing experience such as a performance, exhibition, publication, or event. The grant emphasizes artist autonomy and is not intended for projects initiated or primarily led by organizations, businesses, or non-artist producers.
