Description
This program funds the conception, planning, and execution of original, artist-led projects across all artistic disciplines within Columbus, Ohio. The goal is to empower individual artists or groups to maintain full creative control and branding of their projects, fostering innovation and public engagement outside of traditional institutional frameworks. Projects must demonstrate artistic, community, or cultural value, provide compensation to participating artists, and align with the Greater Columbus Arts Council’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Statement. Examples of eligible projects include performances, exhibitions, installations, festivals, locally produced films/TV series, published works, recordings, and other public art experiences.
