Description
The Arts and Science Council’s Artist Support Grants fund professional and artistic development for emerging and established artists. The program aims to help artists strengthen their skills, create and present work, improve their business operations, and bring their work to new audiences. Artists working in visual, craft, performing, traditional, and interdisciplinary forms are encouraged to apply.
Projects may focus on completing or presenting a significant new work, promoting an artist’s career, attending classes or workshops, or traveling to training and professional conferences. Supported expenses can include supplies and equipment, websites and portfolios, training costs, and travel costs, provided they relate to the proposal’s funding categories.
