Description
The Artist Support Grants, funded by the McKnight Foundation and administered by the Five Wings Arts Council, provide direct funding to individual artists living in Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, Todd, and Wadena counties, as well as the Leech Lake Tribal Communities in Minnesota. These grants are designed to help artists at any career stage overcome barriers, professionalize their practice, increase artistic output or quality, reach new audiences, or achieve other significant professional development goals. Funding may be used for project expenses, materials, equipment, training, mentorship, or other activities that enhance the artist’s career. The program emphasizes support for projects that result in meaningful artistic or professional growth.
