Description
Artist Support Grants are funded by the North Carolina Arts Council and awarded through regional consortia of local arts councils across 18 North Carolina regions. The program supports professional artists at all career stages, including emerging, midcareer, and established artists working in any discipline.
Grants help artists create and present new work, strengthen their skills, improve business operations, and reach new audiences. Supported activities include purchasing equipment and materials, attending workshops, traveling for professional opportunities, and developing promotional materials. Individual artists and small, unincorporated collaborating groups may apply through their region’s lead arts council.
