Arts Access Grants support organizations presenting public arts projects in Delaware, funding diverse programming that expands community access, especially for audiences with limited arts opportunities.

Funding Amounts: Up to $2,500 for projects with eligible expenses of $5,000 or less; up to $4,000 for larger projects; cash match required

Key Information: Organizations receiving Division General Operating, StartUp, or Project Support are generally ineligible; fiscal agents are not accepted.
Description
The Delaware Division of the Arts’ Arts Access program provides small, project-based grants for organizations offering occasional arts programs and organizations that do not meet its General Operating Support or Project Support eligibility criteria. It supports the presentation and cultivation of performing, visual, literary, media, and folk arts throughout Delaware, emphasizing public experiences of artistic merit and increased access to diverse, quality programming, particularly in underserved communities.
Projects must advance one or more program goals. These include collaboration between artists and community, civic, government, or social-service partners; reaching audiences with limited arts access; lifelong arts learning beyond school; creating new work; and programming in new or non-traditional venues. The program also supports expression of a community’s history, culture, or circumstances and conservation, documentation, and appreciation of diverse artistic traditions.
