Arts Admin Essentials is South Arts’ free professional development webinar series for artists and arts administrators. Its timely, topic-driven sessions respond to the evolving needs of the arts field through practical tools, insights, and industry best practices. Business-focused sessions cover artist contracts, tour planning, budgeting, taxes, grant writing, fundraising, marketing, and board engagement.
The series also helps artists and arts organizations protect their work and maintain operations through disruption. Workshops explore risk assessment, emergency preparedness, business insurance, continuity planning, mutual aid, and readiness, response, and recovery resources. Other sessions address community engagement, accessibility, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in organizational systems and programming. Recordings extend access beyond the live sessions.
