Description
The William Penn Foundation’s Arts and Culture program provides multi-year general operating support to arts and culture organizations, large and small, across Greater Philadelphia. The support helps organizations deliver artistically strong and relevant experiences and use their resources to influence their artistic fields, communities, and the region. By 2035, the Foundation aims to have supported 250 organizations through this objective.
The program recognizes arts and culture organizations’ contributions to thriving communities, including positive social, economic, and community benefits and connections to diverse ideas and cultural backgrounds. It seeks to extend these benefits to more people, particularly in communities where economic inequity, discrimination, and other forms of injustice have limited access to resources and opportunities.
