Description
The Arts Build Communities (ABC) program provides matching grants to Oregon-based nonprofit organizations and units of municipal government (including libraries, schools, and Tribal governments) for projects that use arts-based approaches to address local community issues, needs, or opportunities. The program aims to strengthen arts engagement and access, particularly for historically and currently underserved communities facing systemic barriers. Eligible projects may include new initiatives, program development, cultural tourism, expansion of existing efforts, pre-development, design fees, and community planning activities. The program encourages local partnerships and prioritizes proposals that broaden access to the arts and integrate artists with community goals.
