Description
The Arts Build Communities (ABC) program, administered by the Oregon Arts Commission through Business Oregon, provides matching grants to support arts and community-based organizations in Oregon. The goal is to fund projects that address local problems, issues, or needs using arts-based solutions, and to foster partnerships that increase arts access, particularly for historically underserved communities. Eligible projects may include new initiatives, program development, cultural tourism, expansion of existing projects, and activities such as pre-development, design fees, and community planning. The program prioritizes projects serving communities facing systemic barriers related to geography, race, tribal affiliation, immigration status, socioeconomic status, ability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, or veteran status.
