Description
The Teacher Initiated Project (TIP) Grant, offered by the Utah Division of Arts & Museums, enables individual K-12 educators employed in Utah schools to pursue personal artistic development outside of their classroom teaching. Through this program, educators select a professional teaching artist in any discipline—visual art, music, theatre, dance, storytelling, media arts, folk arts, or creative writing—for 16 hours of one-on-one instruction. The program is designed to foster personal growth and artistic exploration, rather than professional development for classroom use. Funding is paid directly to the teaching artist for their instructional time.
