Description
Arts Fund is administered by the Bronx Council on the Arts (BCA) as part of its Community Engagement Grants (CEGs) program. Supported by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council, it develops Bronx artists and small arts organizations through high-quality projects across all artistic disciplines, genres, and styles.
The program supports local work that enables Bronx communities to experience and actively engage with performing, literary, media, or visual arts. Community engagement is essential, whether through public performances, exhibitions, talkbacks, or participation in the creative process. CEGs encourage projects reflecting the lived experiences of Bronx individuals, groups, and communities, connecting artists and audiences to strengthen the borough’s cultural life and expand access to diverse artistic experiences.
