Description
Administered by East Tennessee Foundation (ETF), the Arts Fund for East Tennessee supports excellence in the arts, expands access to artistic experiences, and connects artists with one another and with communities. It funds organizations whose work sustains cultural traditions and encourages artistic expression, celebrating the region’s artistic and cultural diversity.
The fund favors projects that reach underserved populations, including through outreach or sliding-scale ticket fees; public art displays and performances that bring art into everyday life; and projects celebrating East Tennesseans’ art and culture. Grants are awarded jointly with the Katherine Davis Moore and Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Davis Foundation Fund, which promotes cultural growth and music and arts programs benefiting young people under 25 in East Tennessee.
