Description
Arts in Parks is a collaboration between the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture and Seattle Parks and Recreation. It supports artists, creative workers, neighborhood arts councils, community groups, and organizations bringing new or existing arts and culture activities to Seattle city parks. The 2027 grant supports projects taking place from May through October 2027.
The program aims to promote the arts, celebrate diversity, and build community connections, particularly in underserved and economically challenged areas. Projects may include festivals, performances, storytelling, workshops, and participatory activities. People most affected by systemic oppression—including low-income people, people with disabilities, immigrants, refugees, and communities of color—are especially encouraged to apply.
