Description
The South Carolina Arts Commission’s Arts Industry Operating Support program strengthens organizations that provide ongoing arts experiences and services to individuals, communities, and other organizations across the state. It supports basic operations behind arts production, presentation, services, education, or a combination of these functions, for organizations ranging from emerging to established.
Funds can cover day-to-day costs connected to arts programming, including personnel, supplies, rent, utilities, marketing, consultants, and accessibility expenses. The program is awarded on a three-year cycle, with an annual grant period and final report each year. Its review considers organizational health, the quality and relevance of programs and services, and public participation.
