Description
This program enables Kentucky public and private schools (preschool–grade 12) to provide students with high-quality arts experiences by funding transportation for field trips to organizations listed in the Arts Miles Directory. The grant reimburses schools for roundtrip mileage and driver’s pay for up to two buses per field trip. The objective is to increase equitable student access to arts education and foster engagement by removing transportation barriers, with an emphasis on inclusion and accessibility. Grants are awarded on a reimbursement basis after the field trip and submission of a final report.
