    Description

Jerome Foundation’s Arts Organization Grants support organizations that provide an artistic home for early-career artists and culture bearers throughout urban and rural Minnesota and the five boroughs of New York City. Supported opportunities include residencies, mentorships, fellowships, professional and new work development programs, productions, and commissions. The program emphasizes deep relationships and sustained engagement with artists who take creative risks, pursue innovative approaches, and demonstrate a clear creative purpose and vision.

In 2022, the Foundation moved from open calls to a relationship-centered model rooted in care, trust, collaboration, and ongoing funding. Through multiyear grants and durational partnerships, it seeks to sustain the arts infrastructure supporting early-career artists. Its grantmaking is guided by listening to artists and arts leaders and by practices of belonging, nurture, equity, love, and respect.
