This grant program, launched in celebration of the Greater Worcester Community Foundation’s 50th anniversary, is designed to help public libraries in Worcester County, Massachusetts, elevate the arts and strengthen their role as community hubs. The funding supports inclusive, accessible, and free programming that brings creative expression, visual and performing arts, and cultural experiences into library spaces. Projects can include workshops, exhibitions, performances, DIY crafts, specialized collections, or collaborations with arts and culture organizations. The primary audience must be children, youth, and/or families, with a focus on hands-on learning and fostering creativity. The initiative aims to enhance community cohesion through local arts and culture engagement.
