Description
The New Hampshire State Council on the Arts supports projects that use the arts to strengthen communities and individual wellbeing, enrich K–12 learning, and encourage creativity and positive experiences. The program aims to expand access to meaningful, high-quality arts engagement that informs, educates, and contributes to healthier communities across New Hampshire.
Projects may serve students, families, older adults, people with disabilities, military members and veterans, law enforcement personnel, and people experiencing physical or mental health challenges. Funded work must use artistic practice with professional artists to create a healing or learning environment, rather than provide therapy for a diagnosed disorder.
