Arts Project Support Grants support South Carolina artists and organizations with arts projects, events, marketing, and professional development to strengthen artistic work and community arts.

Description
The South Carolina Arts Commission’s Arts Project Support grants help artists and organizations carry out quality arts projects and programs or improve their artistic work and practice. Supported work includes projects in public spaces, community arts development, marketing and events, professional development for artists and arts administration staff, and improvements to technical, online, or virtual capacity.
Grant funds cover actual project costs, such as equipment, furniture, professional services, and materials needed for the proposed work. Examples include artist residencies and public art training for artists, and cultural planning or public art facilitation training for organizations. Applicants located in or serving the commission’s Opportunity Initiative Counties receive bonus points in review.
