Description
The Texas Commission on the Arts (TCA) offers competitive, short-term project grants to help designated cultural districts diversify local economies, generate revenue, and attract visitors and investment. Projects may present high-quality arts programming with a significant draw for visitors from at least 50 miles outside the community, such as major festivals, exhibitions, or premieres.
Support also covers improvements that make a district more accessible, attractive, cohesive, or safe; signage and wayfinding; and promotion through websites, branding, or marketing. Capital improvements are permitted. TCA Cultural District applicants may also seek support for district management and operations. Grants may include administrative costs directly related to the project.
