Arts Respond Project supports Texas arts organizations and other eligible groups with short-term arts projects that advance education, health, economic development, public safety, or natural resources.

Description
The Texas Commission on the Arts (TCA) offers competitive, short-term project assistance through Arts Respond Project. Each project must address one priority: education, health and human services, economic development, public safety and criminal justice, or natural resources and agriculture. Funding may include administrative costs directly related to the project.
The priorities cover distinct uses of art, from learning during the Pre-K–12 public school day to health-related work, cultural tourism, engagement with at-risk youth or incarcerated populations, and exploration of ecological or agricultural environments. Natural resources and agriculture projects may also present arts activities in rural counties.
