Description
ArtsNEXT is a competitive Ohio Arts Council program for bold, experimental organizational projects. It supports work that tests solutions to difficult problems, engages participants in unexpected ways, creates new work, or changes how an organization designs its arts programming. Projects might pilot a program, develop a partnership to reach new audiences, or adapt a promising practice from another community, industry, or arts genre.
Priority goes to projects that improve community access to arts experiences and take risks appropriate to the organization. Examples include arts-and-healing partnerships, public art where access is limited, technology that makes arts experiences more accessible, and research into environmentally conscious artmaking.
