    Description

The Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour (ASAB) provides Conference Attendance Grants to widen participation in its conferences and workshops. The programme reflects ASAB’s view that conferences benefit from participation at all academic levels, while recognising the costs faced particularly by early career scientists and researchers in developing countries. Awards contribute towards registration, accommodation, travel to and from the conference, and travel insurance.

Support is available for attendance at the main conference venue or an ASAB-agreed hublet, where participants watch a streamed conference. Applicants are strongly encouraged to present their work, including posters describing projects and planned research, but presentation is not required. Funding priorities include first-time applicants and work connected to the conference theme.
