Description
The Harold Pinches and Glenn Schwab Teaching Materials Fund is an ASABE Foundation fund supporting the development and effective distribution of ASABE teaching materials, including textbooks. It accumulates money throughout the year to support one or more projects, with a focus on creating educational resources and helping them reach their intended audiences.
The fund supports innovative educational products, including resources such as the Introduction to Biosystems Engineering digital textbook and the Biosystems Engineering Digital Library. ASABE members seeking support begin with a letter of intent describing the proposed material, its audience, potential authors, and requested funding. The ASABE P-515 Teaching and Learning Resources committee reviews these letters and invites authors of the highest-rated submissions to provide full proposals.
