Description
The American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) presents this award to recognize outstanding research contributions to biochemistry and molecular biology by young investigators. It honors scientific achievement and supports the recipient’s travel to present a lecture at the society’s annual meeting, providing an opportunity to share their work with the meeting’s audience.
The award is presented every other year, alternating with the Earl and Thressa Stadtman Young Scholar Award. Established in its current form in 2023, it combines the Mildred Cohn Award in Biological Chemistry and the ASBMB Young Investigator Award.
