This grant supports talented and established scientists in further developing their careers by funding research projects that advance the fundamental understanding of the brain and/or improve the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of brain and nervous-system diseases. The program aims to position Denmark as a leader in neuroscience by fostering world-class research environments at Danish universities and university hospitals. Proposals from any field with significant potential impact on neuroscience are welcome, including cross-disciplinary approaches spanning medical, technical, natural, social sciences, and the humanities. International collaboration and diversity in research teams are strongly encouraged.
