Description
This grant supports experienced and independent researchers in Denmark working on projects that enhance the fundamental understanding of the brain and/or improve prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of brain and nervous-system diseases. The call welcomes proposals from any research field—biomedical, technical, natural, social sciences, and humanities—with high potential impact on neuroscience, broadly defined. The program emphasizes projects with clear plans for translating research outcomes into advances in neuroscience and human health. Diversity of background and experience is encouraged, as is international collaboration and exchange to strengthen Danish neuroscience research and career development.
