The ASCO Clinical Oncology & Research Experience (ASCO CORE), funded by Conquer Cancer - the ASCO Foundation, provides U.S. medical students with an immersive experience in oncology through two tracks: a Clinical Oncology Experience focused on direct patient care, and a Research Experience centered on oncology-related research projects. Participants are paired with mentors for guidance, attend the ASCO Annual Meeting for networking and professional development, and present their experiences in a Virtual Showcase. The program aims to foster early interest and skills in oncology, supporting both academic and career growth.
