Description
The ASEEES First Book Subvention Program provides competitive financial support to first-time authors in Slavic, East European, and Eurasian studies who are publishing their inaugural scholarly books. The program offers grants of up to $2,500 per book to offset essential production costs—including copy editing, design, typesetting, e-book conversion, image preparation, and printing. The funds are paid directly to the publisher and aim to facilitate the broad dissemination of new research and to foster the professional development of early-career scholars with publishing contracts.
