Description
This grant supports Finnish mid-career professionals and specialists from any field to pursue a professional development project in the United States. Projects may include further studies, practical experience, organizational visits, public lectures, or other relevant professional activities, with the aim of enhancing the applicant's expertise and contributing to their field in Finland. Grantees are expected to act as cultural ambassadors, promoting mutual understanding and strengthening Finland-U.S. relations, and are encouraged to remain active in the Fulbright Finland alumni community. The program is co-funded by the Fulbright Finland Foundation and the applicant’s home institution, emphasizing knowledge exchange, professional enrichment, and international collaboration.
