Description
The ASLA-Fulbright Mid-Career Professional Development Grant is run by the Fulbright Finland Foundation for professionals and specialists seeking professional enrichment in the United States. Projects may combine further education or training, practical experience in actual operations, visits to organizations, public lectures, and other appropriate professional experiences. The aim is to advance both the participant’s professional practice and the wider field in Finland, rather than support academic research or full-time study.
Part of the global Fulbright program, the grant also promotes mutual understanding and Finland–U.S. relations. Participants serve as cultural ambassadors, share their knowledge during and after the exchange, and are expected to have a genuine interest in active engagement with the Foundation’s alumni community.
