Description
The ASNT Foundation Fellowship Program supports graduate-level research advancing nondestructive testing (NDT). Administered by the ASNT Foundation, the charitable arm of the American Society for Nondestructive Testing, it aims to foster the next generation of NDT leaders and researchers. The program supports exploration of novel ideas and development of new technologies that contribute to the NDT community.
Past supported work includes ultrasonic imaging, microwave thermography, structural health monitoring, additive-manufacturing defect detection, and characterization of materials and damage. Selection considers research novelty, potential contribution, technical soundness, scope, and likelihood of successful completion, along with the adequacy of the research team and facilities.
