    Description

The American Society of Plant Biologists (ASPB), through its Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, offers a limited number of Recognition Travel Awards to attend Plant Biology 2027 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. These fellowships support students, postdocs, and faculty who belong to groups minoritized in the US scientific workforce and/or directly support the education and professional development of students in those groups.

The program aims to increase diversity among annual-meeting attendees and make the meeting’s science and networking opportunities accessible to people who might otherwise be unable to attend. Undergraduate students are strongly encouraged to apply, alongside graduate students, postdocs, and faculty. A research abstract is not required, although successful applicants with pertinent research are strongly encouraged to present it at the meeting.
