Description
The Aspen Global Innovators Group (AGI), housed at the Aspen Institute in Washington, DC, cultivates locally rooted, globally networked leaders advancing health and development. Its fellowships, strategic partnerships, and advocacy tools emphasize values-based leadership and community-based innovation: solutions grounded in lived experience, unmet needs, and overlooked approaches that can drive sustainable social change.
The Healthy Communities Fellowship provides U.S. community leaders with individualized communication, narrative, and leadership training. Fellows develop opinion pieces, advocacy plans, interview skills, and a digital media presence. Other initiatives include New Voices, which strengthens frontline experts’ influence on global development; Impact West Africa, which supports regional advocates; and the Climate Innovators Accelerator, which helps frontline leaders scale community-driven climate solutions through leadership development, communications coaching, and investor engagement.
