Description
The American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology (ASPO) offers this career development award for otolaryngologists–head and neck surgeons committed to pediatric otolaryngology research. It supports research training that directly advances an applicant’s long-range research objectives, alongside the activities and resources needed to carry out a project.
Relevant work includes patient-oriented clinical trials, health services and outcomes research, translational research, and basic science. ASPO encourages proposals that bring knowledge or methods from other disciplines into pediatric otolaryngology. Applications go through the Centralized Otolaryngology Research Efforts (CORE) review process; the ASPO Board makes final funding decisions.
