Description
The American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology (ASPO) awards this annual grant to support innovative research directly relevant to pediatric otolaryngology. Offered through the Centralized Otolaryngology Research Efforts (CORE) grants program, it supports MD, PhD, and DMD researchers applying individually or through eligible institutions. Preference is given to projects completed within one year, although exceptional proposals requiring longer may be considered.
The grant supports practical research resources, including technical personnel, consultants, computing resources, experimental animals, laboratory supplies and services, and publication expenses. Applications undergo scientific review through the CORE Study Section, with funding recommendations from the ASPO Research Committee and final decisions by the ASPO Board. Recipients must share supported work through an ASPO annual meeting abstract and project reports.
