Description
This opportunity aims to facilitate the implementation of Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) programs for adults with serious mental illness (SMI). Recipients are expected to establish and operate AOT programs, collaborating with civil courts, community partners, and other entities to provide community-based treatment for adults with SMI who meet the criteria for AOT. The program is designed to enhance public safety and improve health outcomes by ensuring access to evidence-based treatment and coordinated care for individuals under court-ordered outpatient treatment.
