Description
The Warburg Institute’s Associate Fellowships confer a scholarly title on active academic researchers whose publishing connects with the Institute’s work and intellectual resources. The scheme, within the University of London’s School of Advanced Study, is intended for researchers who are not affiliated with a university or similar centre of higher education and who normally hold a PhD.
The fellowship provides an association with the Institute rather than financial support. Associate Fellows are expected to contribute to its intellectual life in a measurable way. Selection focuses on candidates’ scholarly work, with review by the Director and academic staff familiar with their field, followed by a decision of the Institute’s academic staff.
