Description
This fellowship is designed to introduce medical students to radiation oncology through an immersive eight-week summer research experience. Participants work under the guidance of ASTRO-member mentors, engage in clinical and/or basic science research, attend professional development webinars, and build professional networks. The program culminates in the submission of a research abstract to the ASTRO Annual Meeting and provides additional support for meeting attendance and travel. The award aims to foster interest in radiation oncology as a career and strengthen research and clinical skills at an early stage.
