Description
The AstroAI Fellowship at the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian is designed to advance the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) within astrophysical research. The program invites exceptional early-career researchers to undertake innovative, interdisciplinary projects that bridge AI and astrophysics. Fellows are encouraged to define their own research directions within the broad AstroAI framework, with particular emphasis on biosignature detection in exoplanet atmospheres and the development of physical generative AI models. Each Fellow is co-mentored by advisors from both astrophysics and AI, fostering a collaborative and cross-disciplinary environment at the Center for Astrophysics in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
