This grant, offered under the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program, supports U.S. scholars to undertake research in astronomy and astrophysics at the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies (DIAS), specifically within the Astronomy & Astrophysics Section. Awardees will collaborate with active research groups working in areas such as planetary science, planetary magnetospheres, solar physics, space weather, exoplanets, star and planet formation, and the interstellar medium. In addition to research, scholars are encouraged to give public talks, mentor students, and engage with the local community to foster international academic exchange and cooperation. Accommodation is provided at the historic Dunsink Observatory, offering a unique environment for scientific collaboration and cultural immersion.
