Summary: Supports projects that advance collaboration, dialogue, and cooperation between Austria and the United States, especially through educational and cultural initiatives.
This grant supports innovative projects that foster collaboration and dialogue between Austria and the United States. The program prioritizes initiatives that bring American perspectives to Austria or connect Americans and Austrians in areas such as U.S. foreign policy, shared transnational challenges, cultural exchange, and technological or scientific innovation. Projects should aim to promote mutual understanding, highlight U.S.-Austrian shared history, and celebrate American arts, sciences, and economic dynamism—particularly among youth and in the context of America’s 250th anniversary in 2026. Proposals are considered on a rolling basis, subject to the availability of Public Diplomacy funds.
